Chuck Fabiano was the most loving dad and grandpa a family could ask for. He was a devoted husband. He was a compassionate friend to so many. For the man who shaped us and touched the lives of countless individuals, we would like to support his legacy by making a sizeable contribution to Chicago's Brookfield Zoo through their Memorial and Tribute Bench Program.

Brookfield Zoo was the place he brought us regularly for more than 40 years to teach the valuable lesson of balancing the hard grind of life with time for family connection, joy, peace, and reflection, all the while supporting a place he saw making a positive contribution to the world. He just loved family trips to the zoo, and two generations beyond describe those days among our best days ever.

Your donation will help us create a little place of honor - a quiet bench adorned with an engraved name plaque - where visitors can revel at the wonders, while the zoo uses funds to perform their critical mission of animal conservation.

Chuck's last trip to the zoo was only 20 days before he passed, spending precious hours with daughter and two grandkids, who had no idea it would be his last. His grandson Elijah came up with this perfect tribute to his memory.
