I am saddened to say my best friend Christopher Peterson lost his step-daughter Christian. Chris, his wife, his step-daughter and son in law were walking as a family on Saturday (7/23/2022) on an evening walk. Out of nowhere a big truck was speeding down the road, ran off the road and hit Christian (the oldest step-daughter of Chris). The truck never stopped and kept going treating Christian as if she was an object. Christian’s body laid lifeless as my friend Chris gave CPR to her but Christian never woke up. Chris is a retired first responder and worked many years serving his community. I have never met anyone that has a heart as big as Chris. To know that he experienced seeing his own step-daughter killed before his eyes and he tried saving her lets me know what kind of person he is and the courage he possesses. Christian was beautiful and had the sweetest smile you can imagine. Christian was only 22 years old and had her entire life ahead of her. Christian and her husband Sean were looking forward to taking their honeymoon trip that they never had the chance to take in the past. During this time of financial strain due to unexpected death I want to ask for donations for this family. No amount is too small. Thank you so much for your support of this family in need.
