Hello, my name is Tonia Staten sister of Tony Neal. On August 25, 2023 my brother passed away in his sleep. It was totally unexpected for him to pass away before me. I am the oldest of the two and it has taken our family by complete surprise. At such a young age (51) we usually don't have any preparation for something such as this. My brother had both kidneys removed over a decade ago and had just received a kidney transplant about a year ago after 10 years of dialysis treatment. He had recently started a new job that he really loved and life was progressing pretty well for him until early August, 2023 when his employer noticed he wasn't looking well. They sent him home to rest and when he didn't show up for work the local authorities were notified. Our family was contacted by the local authorities for a wellness check at which time my brother's body was discovered in his bed. My mother and I are doing the best we can during this very difficult and heartbreaking time. Because of his sudden death and the unexpected burial expenses incurred by our mother we are asking for any donations from friends and family in helping with Tony's memorial costs.
