Contribution in memory of Andrey Loginov

Story

Hello, With great sadness we want to give the news of our dear colleague Andrey Loginov passing away on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023, after battling with cancer. Andrey had been with WU for 25+ years, working on the Core Money Transfer system and had been a key contributor for a number of strategic initiatives at WU. He helped build some of the core products and infrastructure that is still in use today; and has been working till the last few weeks before his untimely demise. He was a friend, colleague, and mentor to many of us and a great human being. His legacy lives on through his work at Western Union and the friendships he built here. Many of the channel adaptors that run 100% of our money transfer traffic were designed and built by him. Smart Distibutor, Appin, Premium Server, Loyalty CCUST, and HPNS Pricing to name a few. We are mourning the loss of our friend and colleague; he will be sorely missed. At this time let’s keep him and his family in prayers. Andrey is survived by his wife Marina, daughter Maria and one year old grandson Ivan, who are devastated on their loss and your contribution will help address their immediate needs.
