Hi my name is Rita. I am a sister to Andrew Nigg. My brother Andy, suffered a hemorrhagic stroke in his brain stem on March 1st. He remained in ICU for a week. He was then removed from life support March 8th. He was only 57 with a wife and 2 children. His passing was unexpected. He did not have any life insurance or extended savings set up. His wife has had to incur all funeral costs.

Here is a brief obituary:
Andrew Phillip Nigg, age 57, of Rancho Cucamonga, passed into the loving arms of Jesus while surrounded by his family on March 8th, 2024 from a stroke.
Beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, he is survived by his devoted wife Alicia and sons, Kevin (18) and Alec (15). He is also survived by his mother and 8 siblings: Cynthia, Peter, James, Mary, Virginia, Paul, Susie and Rita. He is preceded in death by his father, C. Peter Nigg.
Andy grew up in Los Angeles and attended Daniel Murphy High School. He had dreams of flying and earned his pilot’s license for helicopters. Andy had an untapped talent for creative art, media and design. He enjoyed reading and learning about the world around us. He was well versed in many current events and enjoyed engaging debates.

Andy was a devoted Catholic and family man. He worked for Amazon corporation and was able to spend many years with his children at home during their formative years.

Andy will be greatly missed and we pray he is flying freely with the Lord.
