Help Alex Holtsov's family with funeral expenses

Hello, my name is Yevgeniya Tatarenko, and a lot of you know me. I am fundraising to support a great family of newcomers from Ukraine, that lost their dearest husband/father on Valentine's Day!

Alex (Oleksandr) Holtsov and his family immigrated to Canada just over a year ago from Ukraine. It was his and his family's long-lasting dream and they were working really hard to achieve this goal!

They were displaced by the war in 2014 as they were forced to leave Donetsk due to the Russian occupation of that territory. Then they started a new life in the Kyiv region in the hope to immigrate to Canada. And they did! Canada welcomed them in November 2022. Seems like everything started to go as planned... Alex found a great job as a Mechanic at Pembina Valley Murray Dealer, was a respected member of a team, worked hard, and tirelessly helped a lot of people with auto repair needs in our region. Life was getting better and more stable... Until the evening of Valentine's Day when Alex came back home from work... He told his wife Hanna that he had a headache, laid down, closed his eyes, and... fell into a coma... intensive bleeding into the brain... and on February 16th he was turned off the life support system...

And the family lost their EVERYTHING... Their main love, main support, main joy, main hope...

It's hard to believe what Alex's family goes through those days and they need our help! Hanna doesn't ask for help, she is willing to try on her own to cover all funeral expenses, but we all know that this is something that is unbelievably hard for a family, especially for a newcomer family! They lost their home in Ukraine, they were building a new life for the family here, in Morden, and they lost everything... But the Holtsov family didn't lose us, Pembina Valley's community, Ukrainians in our Community, and everyone who knew Alex and who just wants to help! They have us and WE CAN HELP THEM!

I ask everyone to consider donating in memory of Alex Holtsov and wish to help his family to decrease this horrible pain and all funeral and after-funeral expenses!

Everyone who knew Alex knew him as an incredibly awesome, kind, supportive, balanced, humorous, and professional personality! And his family knew him as their Universe of love and support!
