Greetings, family & friends. With a heavy heart, I share the devastating news that on July 31st, 2022, my beloved son Akeel Oliver-Berry died unexpectedly of kidney failure. For many years he fought hard to keep his transplanted kidney from failing. This event has deeply shaken us all. His sudden transition has left me unprepared to provide for the homegoing he deserves.

Many of you have asked how you can be of assistance during this difficult time. So I'm now reaching out to you all, friends and family, for help with final arrangements.

My darling Akeel was known affectionately as Beans de Dancer, Flossman DJ and Siegel. All of these names defined him as the great person he was. Akeel was a joyful 27-year-old full of life; he was loving, caring and kind-hearted.
