Our family is heartbroken to share that our beloved brother, Shane Aaron Jacob Cooke, passed away suddenly on October 9, 2025, in Long Beach. He was only 29 years old — far too young, with so much life still ahead of him.
Shane was a quiet and humble soul, known for his strength, kindness, and deep loyalty to family. He carried himself with quiet dignity, often fighting silent battles so that no one else had to. He didn’t have children of his own, but he poured his love into his family — showing up in small, consistent ways that meant everything to those who knew him.
Our family is still healing from the unimaginable pain of losing our other brother just last year — a tragedy that changed our lives forever. To face another loss so soon feels unbearable. We are doing everything we can to stay strong for our mother, who is now preparing to bury her second son in less than a year. No parent should ever have to endure that kind of pain.
We are asking for your help to give Shane the peaceful farewell he deserves.
The funds raised will go directly toward:
Funeral and burial expenses
Memorial services and related costs
Helping our mother during this time of deep grief
Our goal is $10,000 to cover these urgent needs. Any amount, no matter how small, makes a difference. Even sharing this page helps us more than words can say.
We know times are hard for everyone, but your kindness, love, and support remind us that we are not alone. Thank you for standing with our family as we honor Shane’s life and legacy.
With love and gratitude,
The Boyd/Cooke Family
