This GoFundMe has been launched in support of Cynthia Figueroa & the Figueroa family as they deal with the tragic loss of Cynthia's son & OPRF student, Jayden Nigel Figueroa. Please consider supporting in their time of need.

A direct message from Cynthia Figueroa:

Oak Park community, on Thursday, October 26th, my biggest fear became a horrible reality, as my 14-year-old son, Jayden tragically passed on to his heavenly father.

Jayden's passing has placed a devastating agony on myself, as well as my family. As we attempt to come to work through our devastation, we humbly ask for the community's support in paying for Jayden's homegoing services.

Jayden was a young beautiful spirit, who was a freshman at OPRF high school. He was loved by many, admired by some, & adored by his mother.

Efforts also will be made to raise awareness regarding the importance of supporting mental health & addressing drug abuse amongst our youth. Through Jayden's mental health struggles, I hope a legacy can be created that supports other students & families, so that no one else has to deal with such tragedy.

There can be no future, without our children.
