In Loving Memory of Evan Robertson

Hi, my name is Chloe, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my sister-in-law, Melissa Robertson (née Lamain).

On August 12th, Melissa’s husband, Evan, tragically passed away after being struck by a car while riding his motorcycle. He was only 36 years old.

Evan was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a dedicated volunteer firefighter who gave his time selflessly to help others. He leaves behind his wife, Melissa, and their 10-year-old son, Henry, who are now facing an unimaginable loss.

Melissa grew up in the Orillia area, where her parents and extended family still live. While she has the support of loved ones nearby, the emotional and financial impact of losing Evan so suddenly is overwhelming.

We’re raising funds to help ease the financial burden—covering funeral expenses, day-to-day living costs, and helping provide some stability for Henry as they begin to navigate life without Evan.
