A bright light has gone out in our lives. A husband, a friend, and a soul full of warmth and generosity has left us far too soon. As we navigate this heartbreak, we are faced with the heavy responsibility of bringing him back home (Kenya) – to the people and the land he loved.

We are asking for your help to give him a farewell worthy of the love he shared so freely. Your support will help us repatriate his body, lay him to rest with dignity, and provide some stability for the family now left to rebuild their world without him.

Preston Otieno tragically met his death on the 21st Feb,2026 in Gosport, UK. He was a beloved husband to Lavender, a father of two young children, a colleague and friend to many.
