Dear family and friends,

With a heavy heart and the heaviest cross I have ever had to carry. I share with you the passing of my precious, beautiful boy God blessed me with for 27 years Angel E. Lopez. He passed on January 30th peacefully in his bed. Currently cause of death is unknown.

Those that knew my son, Angel, knew how brilliant and intelligent he was, he was my little genius. He was also a champion at chess and playing pool.

He was unique in his own way, he was kind, sweet with a humble heart, gentle, very loving and a tender-hearted individual.

He radiated an unparallel kindness, patience and touched the hearts of everyone he encountered.

One of Angel’s favorites past times was riding his skateboard all over the place. He loved doing tricks and videotaping himself so he could master it.

He was a gifted artist, loved filming, editing and photography. Cinematography was his passion in high school and college.

One of his memorable achievements in high school that won him a state championship was a video he created for directing change (Suicide Prevention).

Angel had dreams and goals. He wanted to become a director one day, but his illness prevented him from achieving his dreams.

Angel was a kid of many talents and exceeded in everything he did. He never boasted but was humble and modest with all his talents.

Angel’s aunt/Tia Ana Aurora wanted to share a little about him; “Angel was the perfect name for my nephew. I will always remember the little rascal he was as a little kid, so cute… As he became a very gifted teenager, he always amazed me with his creativity and charm. He was talented and sensitive to the point that souls like him have a difficult time accepting things of this world and his time. Angels belong with God. He is in his rightful home now. He was loved so much by me and all his family”.

The past two weeks have been filled with so much pain and unbearable grief with this unexpected loss of my son, Angel.

Unfortunately, as you can imagine I am faced with such an enormous financial responsibility. As a single mom, I am asking if anyone can help in any way. All donations will go toward his funeral and resting place. If you are unable to donate, please say a prayer for me and my family and share this if possible.

In honor of my son, Angel I ask that we all remember to be kind to one another, loving and gentle because that is who my son was.

I will love you always my beautiful Angel. You will be in my heart forever.

RIP my pumpkin.
Love Mom
