Donate in Bucky's Honor to PETS Of the Kingdom

Tonight, as I reflect on the case involving the dog that many of us have grown to know and love, who we called "Bucky or Buckethead", I am inspired to fundraise in his, and my good friend and rescue partner, Renee Falconer's honor. Soon after his rescue, Renee fundraised for his medical care, and so many people rose to the occasion, in a BIG way! The support for this dog, and just as importantly Renee and her undying mission to be a voice for the voiceless, was overwhelming! There were enough donations to not only to care for Bucky, but many more animals to come who may find themselves in need of care from Renee and her team. Ultimately, due to the unfortunate way that this story played out, the donations were all refunded to avoid any further negativity. Most people that know Renee and have interacted with her throughout her decades of animal control and rescue work, know her unwavering dedication. I think that although this case did not conclude the way that many had hoped, we can use this opportunity to show Renee how many people support the work that she does every day by donating in Bucky's honor to her nonprofit, PETS Of the Kingdom. If you've followed this story at all, you can probably understand why this case has taken an emotional toll on Renee, so I'd love to celebrate her and her dedication with an outpouring of support for her rescue.
