Hi, I’m Caterina! I’m 15 years old, and I was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 12! I braced for 2 years and now I am planning on getting spinal fusion surgery at Cedars Sinai later this year. When I was first diagnosed, I was so happy to get a Higgy bear with a matching brace to know I wasn’t alone! My goal with this fundraiser is to help other kids like me understand scoliosis better, by having a bear that can match where they are in their scoliosis journey!
