Donate - Help Tad in his battle against pancreas cancer

Donation protected
My name is William “Tad” Herrscher and I have pancreatic cancer . I need some help paying off my $10,000+ in out-of-pocket and co-insurance medical costs; and I am very grateful for the temporary housing donation ($10,400 value) at Sonesta ES Suites - Dallas Medical Center to help my recovery after my chemotherapy treatments for the next 6 months… I will use additional donations to meet my $3,000 per month financial budget (including child support payments), and prepare for medical expenses in 2026.

The temporary housing close to UT Southwestern will provide me a comfortable, full and fun life and support me traveling to visit, reconnect and hopefully reconcile with family (my brother’s friendship has been lost for 14 years) and a several friends I haven’t seen in 15-30 years. ❤️

My cancer journey began in March 2025, when an MRI for stomach pain revealed a tumor on my pancreas. In April 2025, Dr. John Zeh at UT Southwestern (head of pancreas surgery) used robotics to remove the tumor, my spleen, and a bunch of yucky-looking lymph nodes. The surgery was a success, although I suffered through severe pancreas fluid pain from leaking pancreas enzymes as it tried to digest me from the inside out

On June 16, 2025, I started the chemotherapy portion of the treatment… it sucks… my body is pumped full with toxic chemicals hoping to kill any remaining cancer cells… it caused vomiting, nausea, fatigue, fever, and I felt very sick for 1 week, and I was worse the last 3 days… I have to do this again and again, twice a month, until my treatment is concluded in November 2025.

I am so grateful that I was gifted a complimentary room near UTSW in Dallas, TX; nobody needs to be around my pitiful groans, vomiting, and illness… after receiving the toxic cocktail, I just want to crawl under a bush … but I have 2 children in McKinney High School, and 2 older boys: Will a chiropractor with a wife and 2 of my granddaughters, and the other son, JT, is a recent Stanford graduate and aerospace engineer building satellites in Silicon Valley, California.

I am also pursuing alternative therapies like Reiki from Dr. Jon Hochberg in Dallas ($200 per session); and I would like to use massage therapy and acupuncture to help me get through the chemotherapy. If you believe in the healing power of Christ energy through the conduit’s laying on of hands, I would gratefully accept donations for those treatments also - leave a comment if you want me to take your support and intention into a session.

I believe the Christ Spirit in you, is what motivates Your gifts and generosity, and it is an awesome thing to witness; and the donations and gifts will be received humbly and with sincere gratitude.

With love received and returned to you , Tad Herrscher
