funds for a Taska Prosthetic arm
Donazione protetta
Hi, My name is Nick. I'm 25 years old, and on July 31st, my life changed forever. I was in a motorcycle accident. I lost my right arm below the elbow and many broken bones on the left side, leaving my left arm with limited function. Life has become a struggle, to say the least, but having the ability to get a prosthetic arm would be a game-changer. I feel the prosthetic arm that would be the best fit is a Taska myoelectric prosthetic. This device is waterproof, allows one to have the ability to move fingers, pick up small objects and makes the struggles of daily living without an arm much easier. I have tried thru my private insurance company but have been denied twice. All I want is to get back to somewhat of a normal life, be a good dad to my two girls, a good husband and be able to do some of the things I loved to do, such as fish with my daughter, work on my car and help fix friends and family cars which have always been a passion of mine. My job was to climb cell phone towers, but that is impossible without an arm. After recovering for over eight months, I finally went back to work, but I need a prosthetic that could withstand the elements outside and maybe climb again one day. Receiving donations for a prosthetic such as the Taska would make life better. Any funds received will go directly to the prosthetic company to get the Taska myoelectric arm.
