Donate & help "Shanla Irwin" battle with cancer.

This GoFundMe page has been set up on behalf of my partner Jasmine Williams. My name is Mark Coleman, Jasmine and I are 33yrs old, from Tweed Heads NSW and have 3 children together aged 6, 3 and 1.

Only 3 months ago, our family was hit with the most devastating news imaginable..

It all started when my mother went to the hospital with what we believed was nothing more than a headache. Although after reviewing the symptoms and receiving multiple scans, the results came back, not in our favor. Unfortunately, the headache turned out to be one of several tumors spread throughout her entire body caused by what has been now diagnosed as stage 4 lung cancer..

The reality of trying to accept what has happened to my mother is beyond heartbreaking and almost unbearable to fathom. Stage 4 lung cancer is a terminal disease in which Shanla has been given a life expectancy of only 3-6 more months left with us. Shanla has spent almost every day at Gold Coast university hospital, currently going through radiation treatment over her body, almost every day and chemotherapy treatment every other, along with every type of medication you can think of to help her body function and process the pain. Shanla has since broken bones, had organ failures and is now unable to walk.

Words can't describe the pain and emotions we are dealing with during this time.

I have set up this GoFundMe page to help assist Shanla and our family with dealing with her End Of Life stage. All donations will go directly to assist Shanla in any way possible to help her deal with this process as well as fulfilling a few final simple bucket list wishes, like going to the cinemas and having a teppanyaki-style dinner. We aim to make her remaining life as peaceful as possible by trying to cover her remaining living expenses, inc. medical bills, medical aids, assisted living services, care servicing, palliative care, as well as funeral costs and to make sure Shanla gets her desired send-off wishes.

We appreciate all that have reached out to us more than we can explain. We are still finding this very difficult to accept, so please understand if your reaching out goes unanswered, it does not go unnoticed and means more to us than you may think.
