Hi, my name is Saima. I am a 3rd grade teacher in San Diego. I have been teaching for about 6 years. I love my job and my kiddos. But I have been spending so much of my paycheck trying to make our classroom inviting and a place of love. However, the amount of kids and the space that I have won’t accommodate students and desks. So I tried to purchase the items mostly by myself and now I’m reaching out to my community to help me purchase some new furniture for my class. I’m looking to give flexible seating options and to update my library. Books and furniture are very expensive. There’s only so much I can do on my own. The picture above is what our class looked like 3 years ago. I will update the picture to show what our class looks like now and hopefully with the money I can purchase a kidney table, new tables, new flex options, many books that are actually updated, bring some tech in the class - and basically update our classroom. Please help our class and school by donating anything. It would be greatly appreciated by me, our community, our school, and generations of kids to come.
