3/7/25 UPDATE We thank everyone who donated; your contributions will significantly help with xema’s possible recovery; xema extends special thanks to those who drop by to say hello and who assist her with her physical needs,,,,at this point the funds raised have allowed for a completed mri scan;; the results of the scan were baffing to both the er, the various vets and specialists,, xema presents as a dog with serious disk damage yet the scan detected no damage whatsoever,,,this means that no one actually knows the cause of xema’s suffering,,, xema remains non-ambulatory,,, The recommendations at this point are for further testing, ultra sound of the abdomen and physical therapy… the point of ultrasound is to detect any possibility of cancer,,, physical therapy is intended to help strengthen her, she has experienced muscle loss and has difficulty bearing her weight,,,the fact that no physical damage to her spine has been observed means that xema may not need surgery,,,however, now that we have an official mri document we will be able to reach out to other funding sources such as bow wow and frankie's friends, etc. They may be able to help fund some of the costs for additional therapies and treatments that xema will need…thanks again for helping us to get this far …
