Hello Westford Academy Crew Families!

The Parent Volunteers are pleased to present our gift for the 2024-2025 season. Last year we did the Canopy. This year we have acquired 2 brand-new Cox Boxes for the team's use going forward.

What's a Cox Box?

It's the device that combines reliable and powerful voice amplification with stroke rate and timing for coxed rowing shells. Essentially it is the thing-a-ma-bob that the Cox is plugged into with their headset, sort of a dashboard that they use to guide the rowers.

By augmenting the team's current coxbox inventory, we can assure the team will have excellent, functional coxboxes for many years to come. Included with each box is a charger, headset, cleaner and a storage bag. We also ordered Maroon boxes to match our WA colors.

We are asking for any and all donations you can provide. Last year's gift was about $1k more, so we are hopeful we can blow past this year's gift pretty easily. The boxes are already ordered and we will deliver them at first practice.
