Donate for Wendy Bopp's Mobility Needs

I’m reaching out for help from those who know and love my mom, Wendy Bopp. On January 31st, 2025, I received the call that every child dreads: that something had happened to my mom. She suffered a brain aneurysm and stroke while alone in her cherished Honda Element. Thankfully, angels were watching over her. A passerby noticed she was in distress and quickly called for help, getting her the medical attention she needed. She was rushed into emergency surgery, and after spending nearly a month in the ICU at Albany Med, she’s now working hard at Sunnyview Rehab to regain her strength.

She will be coming to live with me upon discharge, and we are so happy to have her home. BUT her challenges are not behind us...

Mom will need to rely on a wheelchair for the foreseeable future, Cory, Mark and I are asking for assistance in purchasing a wheelchair-accessible transport van. We’ve made my home wheelchair-friendly, but now we need a reliable way to get her around.

Thank you all for the overwhelming love and support we've received so far! I will keep everyone updated on her progress, and I can’t wait for you all to see her smiling face again soon! #WendyStrong
