The shelter is always in need of monetary, food, and blanket donations

Walter, the Pomeranian, got lost while watching the Northern Lights. He was trapped for five days in the Murphy Dome area. He was eventually found by a trapper, stuck in a trap. Unfortunately, little Walter had to get a front leg amputation. His vet bill is $2000.

All money raised will go to Walter's medical bill. Any money over that will be donated to Northstar Burrow Animal Shelter.

Thank you, everyone, who helped find Walter. Living in Fairbanks, Alaska, is amazing. But the joint effort, the love, and compassion that everyone showed while little Walter was lost and now is recovering is truly amazing. There are no words to describe the feeling of being loved and cared for.
