Hello Im Patricia , im Veras mom, Im a mom of 6, Vera is my youngest, she is 14 years old,. Im starting this Go Fund Me on her behalf. Vera will be undergoing her 5th open heart surgery next week. She was born with a rare heart condition, No pulmonary artery which gives blood to the rest of the body. She has had 4 previous valve replacements and now due to a very dangerous blood clot surrounding her valve she needs emergency surgery once again. VERA has one lung at 90% capacity, and one only functioning at 10%. My angel daughter has never once complained about her serious condition. This surgery will be her 5th conduit valve replacement and is very scary and serious. She has had one valve that her body regected, and then replaced, one severe setback after another. This valve which was supposed to last her a few more years has now failed on her due to clots, Vera is nothing short of a miracle.
