Travel costs to Palestinian & Israeli Gathering

My name is Danielea Castell. I am an Interbeing Ambassador for Peace and the host of the Listening Field. I have just received an incredible invitation to join the facilitating team of a courageous Gathering of Palestinian and Israeli people called 'Uniting in Our Humanity' happening May 30-June 6 in Greece. My food and accommodation are all covered by the organizers. I am asking for your help with my travel costs to get there.

NOTE: The organizers are still fundraising on the website to cover the costs for the other 8 facilitators, some of whom are coming from the West Bank and require expensive visas. I offered to fundraise my own travel costs.

A BIT MORE ABOUT ME & WHAT I HAVE BEEN DOING SINCE OCT 7, 2023

As the host of the Listening Field I organize online and in person meetings among groups of Humans and Nature Elders, usually from the Water, Rock and Tree Nations, on topics of mutual interest and concern. Since Oct 7, 2023, growing numbers of international Humans and Olive Trees have been meeting monthly in the Listening Field and building personal relationships together.

Olive Trees, who physically and energetically embody Peace have been connecting heart-to-heart with every Human who desires to, and modelling how to imagine and become the vibration of Peace on Earth. The Olive Tree Elder who is leading this partnership movement is 4,000 years old and lives in a small village in occupied Palestine.

WHAT IS REMARKABLE ABOUT THIS GATHERING?

We are creating a bravely safe space to meet with our bodies before our minds, and with movement before discussion.

• the facilitators and the participants are equal numbers of Palestinian and Israeli people

• the activities are all rooted in body-based practices

• because this conflict is being felt around the world, there are 5 international participants including the 2 organizers

Important questions will lead the process. For example,

Can we express and process our emotions in this difficult reality and still stay present together?

Can we become aware of the contradictions we might hold and still allow our hearts to be open?

Can we acknowledge each other's grief and thus reclaim elements of our shared humanity?

AND ……. there is an ancient Olive Grove with a Grandmother Olive Tree Elder very near to the Gathering space.

WHY ME

The organizers have asked me to come and meet with the Olive Tree People in the sacred grove and invite them into a Listening Field with the Humans at the Gathering. It is my honour to accept this invitation and to serve Peace among Humans, and among Humans and Nature People in this way.

Since I am also attending the Gathering representing the international community, I commit to diving even deeper into my own personal journey of ‘being Peace’.

WHAT YOUR DONATIONS COVER

Your donations will cover the costs of my flights, ferries and buses from Gabriola Island BC Canada to the Island of Aegina Greece and back again. A special bank account has been created to accept these monies.

When I return, I will offer an online sharing of my experience at the Gathering, including my inner journey, challenges, new insights and creations, and messages, photos and video from the Olive Tree People and other Nature Elders.
