You guys im freaking out. On Saturday I was admitted to the hospital with a kidney stone. The pain was agonizing and took 12 hours and 6 rounds of pain meds to subdue.

Because it was infected they placed a stent and scheduled surgery.

What they didn't tell me was to have it and the stone removed here in a few days like scheduled now they're saying AFTER insurance i owe a ridiculous copay upfront.

Ok. Sooo..... a lot of yall already know i was admitted to the hospital with an infected kidney stone over the weekend.

Long story short:

They put the stent in and scheduled removal surgery for the stone.

Fast forward to today and they can't do it unless I pay a high deductible after insurance up front. I can't do that so they take me off the schedule.

They said i could remove the stent but it leaves the stone and the doctor said with my bacterial infection I could go septic.

Awesome.

I ask for payment plans. No response. Yet. The one office won't. Williamson MIGHT. I mentioned my HSA but no response.

I called 2 other hospitals.

Can't even get anyone at saint Thomas to answer or call back.

Vandy said I'd have to schedule a new patient appointment first to even see if they would remove it. She said she couldn't tell me anything about cost or billing.

And while I was tryna talk to her my severely autistic child lost his shit and attacked me.
