Hi everyone!

My name is Alessandro Pilia, and I'm reaching out to raise funds to provide food for 15 children living in a shelter in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. It’s a small, yet crucial goal for the organization I’m fundraising for: the Center for the Protection of Children (CPC), a Kyrgyz NGO that for the past 27 years has been active in the field of child protection.

The shelter managed by CPC - its most important activity - hosts children with different stories: some need a safer place to stay, while others are looking for a family. For all of them, CPC provides food, accommodation, school enrolment, as well as psychological and legal support. However, as a non-profit organization, securing funds for our goals is often a challenging and unpredictable task, and even the most basic things become real challenges, such as the procurement of daily food.

Providing three meals a day for one month costs around 8,000 KGS (approximately 78 EUR) per child. This allows us to ensure a well-balanced diet that’s appropriate for the children’s developmental needs.

We are doing everything we can to guarantee daily meals for the 15 children currently staying at the shelter - at least throughout the summer break. That’s why your support could truly make a difference in helping us reach this goal.
