Donate for Thanos' Physical Therapy Journey

Hi, it’s Alaina again! Unfortunately the struggle bus wont fire me yet and this time we’re doing this for our favorite sweet boy Thanos. Yesterday while playing in a friends yard, Thanos was playing and ran over a patch of gravel that he slipped on resulting in his back right leg to go farther under him than his front. My poor baby screamed and cried in a way that will never leave my head, and he has never made a sound remotely close to that. He couldnt move his leg, almost like dead weight that he struggled to carry. We spent 4 hours at the vet yesterday, at which he was so kind and so brave. He charmed the whole room and even tried to comfort a crying lady despite the pain he himself was in. The doctors came to the conclusion that in his slip and fall, he damaged and or disrupted the nerves in his hind right leg up to his hip. For the next two weeks he is on bed rest. No walks, no stairs, no nothing just lay down. He has to go back in a few days to his primary vet where we will check his progress and discuss setting up physical therapy for him. The doctors told us that with his injury, its possible he could significantly start to heal in 2 months, or he may never fully heal or regain use or feeling in that leg again. Anyone who has ever met Thanos knows how sweet, kind, goofy and loving he is. He’s a ball of energy and I know this is the worst possible thing to happen to him when all he loves to do is play outside and frolic. And anyone who has met me can tell you I love him and his brother Dallas more than anything, and would do absolutely anything and everything to make sure he is cared for. Therefore we are asking for any sort of help to go towards his physical therapy. We are so grateful that yesterday we had the help of my friends and his “aunts” that took care of us both during his vet visit yesterday and with his initial treatment bills. I am currently still financially tanked but anything I can do to raise money for his therapy will be done. For now, he is on two medications and chaperoned bed rest, and his big brother Dallas has been so kind and helpful to him too. Dallas was the first to get to him when he first was in pain, tried so hard to get in the car with Thanos, and has snuggled him since he got home. He even tried to encourage him to walk out and potty on a puppy pad on the porch. We love our Sweet boy, and appreciate any help for him we can get to get him back up to his usual self. Thank you!
