Hello! I'm Kerry from Portland, Oregon, raising funds for a person in need in Gaza. Her story follows this message.
The Story of Shireen Abu Radi – A Journey of Hope and Challenges
My name is Sherieen Abu Radi, and I am a 29-year-old girl. I was born with Down's syndrome, and despite the challenges I have faced throughout my life, I have never stopped believing in hope and striving to achieve my dreams. Every day I live, I learn and grow. My life may be full of challenges, but I draw my strength from the love of my family and friends who stand by me.
I live in Gaza, where war and conflict never end, making our daily life even harder. Here, where bombing and explosions are a part of the reality we live, I face even greater challenges, not only due to Down syndrome but also because of the harsh living conditions. However, I don’t let these circumstances weaken my determination or take away my hope for a better tomorrow.
Recently, my health has deteriorated, and I am in urgent need of medical treatment and care. Unfortunately, medical costs here are very high, and my family, living under very difficult circumstances, cannot afford them on their own.
My brother, Omar, is the person who has taken care of me since I was little, and he is the one who will manage this campaign to help me. He has always been by my side, working tirelessly to ensure a better life for me despite the conditions we live under. But now, he needs your support, as this treatment is not just a hope for me, but the only way to live a better and healthier life.
You are the hope we need at this difficult moment. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference in my life. You are the ones who give me the opportunity to fight for my life and live with dignity and health amidst this difficult reality.
Thank you for your support and love. Together, we can make a big difference in my life.
Omar Abu Radi
