A Miracle in the Making — Help Us Fight Pancreatic Cancer --
Written by my cousin Tammie, whose mom, Sarah Shepler, was recently diagnosed with this terrible disease.
What began as a routine ER visit on April 24th turned into the discovery of a hidden tumor—and a race against time. My mom was initially diagnosed with diverticulitis, but one unexpected scan changed everything. Within days, she was in an ambulance to Boise, undergoing lifesaving tests and procedures that should’ve taken weeks or months to access. Every door opened at just the right moment. We don’t believe it was coincidence—we believe it was divine intervention.
Her diagnosis? Pancreatic cancer. But by some miracle, we caught it earlier than most do. The prognosis changed from hopeless to hopeful. Still, traditional treatment options offer little—maybe three months of borrowed time.
That’s why we’ve chosen a different path: Functional Medicine. It’s a holistic, immune-boosting approach that’s already helping others fight this same cancer—and it’s giving us a reason to believe. It’s not covered by insurance, and the cost is overwhelming, but it may give her the best shot at healing.
We’ve been given a rare gift: a fighting chance. And we can’t do it alone.
Please donate, share, and pray.
