Help Our Newborn Daughter Fight for Her Heart ❤️
Hello everyone,
We are the Sanders family, and we’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits. Our precious newborn daughter has been diagnosed with a rare and serious congenital heart defect called Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA).
TGA is a condition where the two main arteries leaving the heart — the pulmonary artery and the aorta — are switched in position. This means that oxygen-poor blood circulates through the body, while oxygen-rich blood circulates only through the lungs, rather than reaching the rest of her body. Without immediate medical intervention, this condition can be life-threatening.
Our baby girl is due on November 6th and will be immediately placed in the neonatal intensive care unit, surrounded by an incredible team of doctors and nurses who are working tirelessly to stabilize her. She will need open-heart surgery within her first days of life to correct the defect and ensure her heart can function properly.
As you can imagine, this has been an overwhelming time for our family — emotionally, physically, and financially. Between hospital stays, surgery costs, travel expenses, and time away from work, we’re doing our best to stay strong for our little one, but we can’t do it alone.
We are asking for your kindness and support as we navigate this difficult journey. Every donation — no matter how small — will go directly toward our daughter’s medical care, recovery, and the expenses surrounding her hospital stay.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read our story, share it, or contribute in any way you can. Your prayers, love, and generosity mean more to us than words can express.
With love and gratitude,
The Sanders Family
