Donate for Saira's Heart Surgery and Recovery

Friends and relatives, as many of you may know, our daughter Saira Brae was born 34 weeks prematurely in January. She was born with ASD and a VSD, which have been taking a toll on her growth and lung function. She has to undergo heart surgery to repair both. They said it’s a common surgery but very new to myself and her father. They had it scheduled for late July, but her doctor wants her in a month earlier on June 26th due to concerns about the medication she is on. So with the date change, we are asking the public to help with travel expenses, food, and lodging. The surgery will be in Rochester, MN, which is an 8-hour drive from where we reside on the Standing Rock Reservation. We’ll have to make the trip down, and recovery can be from 4-7 days in the hospital, depending on how everything goes. After discharge, we’ll have to make that 8-hour trip home. We have great faith and look forward to Saira's future in growing and living a normal life. She’s been in and out of hospitals, so it’s been tough with her medications and oxygen tanks, plus trying to make it to all her appointments. My boyfriend Josh and I humbly appreciate any help. It’s been very hard, but we know this will help her in so many ways, and we would love to both be there by her side.
