Donate for Ronnie Price's Long Road to Recovery

As most people know Ronnie Price was in a terrible freak accident yesterday and was electrocuted and is currently at Augusta Burn Center. It’s a miracle he is even alive today. I don’t know all the details but here is the most recent update from his wife’s fb below.

50,000 volts don't stand a chance when God says He's not finished using someone!! What I walked up on this afternoon and having to walk away from Ronnie tonight were two of the toughest things l've ever had to do. We have truly felt the MANY prayers being said on his behalf. The external wounds are obvious and his first surgery is planned for tomorrow. They are keeping him in burn ICU for monitoring for now because we don't know the extent of internal injury. But nothing catches God by surprise!

Our family has been completely blown away by our community/friends. We will never be able to thank each and everyone individually, but please know that we are forever grateful!! When I told Ronnie of the outpouring of love and support, he said “well…just be real and people will be real”. Ronnie is as REAL as they get!!! And he has maintained his typical positive attitude and sense of humor throughout his trauma. This has been a strong reminder of how quickly life can change. I continue to thank God for leaving Ronnie here with us because he IS, against all odds, reasoning or explanation. BUT GOD!!! His surgery went well today. Most of the electricity exited his neck/face and next worse via his left leg. He also has burns to his left shoulder. According to his surgeon, there was a lot of muscle thickness burns to his neck but both his carotid artery and jugular vein appear undamaged. He does have a thin layer of muscle covering them but could potentially require a more surgery on this area down the road, therefore he had a plastic surgeon with him in the OR. They started the grafting process and plans are to take him back to surgery in 2-3 days per his surgeon. They continue to monitor his bloodwork that would reflect damage to internal organs and for the most part, these are great! Please keep praying because God is answering them in a big way! We love you ALL!!!

The surgeon came to see Ronnie this morning. He explained that if he needs to do a muscle flap, that the one that works best in that area is the pectoral muscle.

With this, comes other risks and we are praying it's not even necessary. He explained that there could be more dead tissue there when they go back and the continued risk of exposed carotid artery and jugular vein if too much tissue has to be removed. Our prayers, of course, are that all remaining tissue is thriving and no more has to be removed! This visit added a bit more to process.

Ronnie has had a hard time going to sleep the last couple of nights (our minds don't shut down just because we shut our eyes) and obviously, today's visit caught us off guard a little after the day we had yesterday (a lot of reflecting over the last week) and we are requesting all of the prayers we can get for healthy tissue when he goes back to surgery tomorrow! NOTHING catches God off guard!!!!

Ronnie is the toughest man I have ever known and has exceeded expectations and I know he can continue to do so!!!!!
