In Loving Memory of Richard Mende: Funeral Support

It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Richard Walter Christopher Mende, who left us too soon at just 50 years old. After battling heart and lung disease, Richard passed peacefully on 18/09/2025 surrounded by family in palliative care after spending two weeks in ICU following a cardiac arrest.

Richard was a beloved father, partner, brother, grandfather (Opi) and uncle whose outgoing personality and love touched everyone around him. Richard will be remembered for his smart and quick whited humour, caring heart and big personality. Losing him has left a deep hole in our lives, and while we are grieving this enormous loss, we also want to give him the respectful farewell he deserves.

We are raising funds to help cover the funeral and memorial expenses, so we can give Richard the farewell he deserves. Any contribution, big or small, will go towards the funeral service, cremation and memorial arrangements, so that family and friends can gather together to celebrate his life and easing the financial burden on our family during this difficult time.
