Donate for Rashaud Johnson's Memorial and Truth

Memorial & Legal Cost Fundraiser:

Hi, my name is Chanese Witcher, and this GoFundMe is being started to help raise money for the memorial services and legal cost for my 32 year old cousin Rashaud Johnson. Rashaud was shot and killed by an Aurora police officer the day after Mother’s Day. Though, I cannot go into a whole lot of details, the circumstances of his killing are still under investigation and to date from Monday, 5/12/25 until today, 5/18/25, the family has yet to review his body which causes even more questions and concerns amongst our family. WHY are we being left in the dark? Lastly, our family would like to say this with complete confidence & without a doubt, Rashaud was a young man with completely different characteristics than what the news reports portrayed him to be in the incident that caused his death. The family is finding it very difficult to comprehend any circumstances that would lead to Rashaud being shot by the police while being unarmed. Rashaud has always been a well-mannered and well-behaved young man, so we are left in disbelief, confusion, and great pain over this incident. For that reason, we not only need your assistance in helping us bury our beloved family member, Rashaud, but help with funds to pay for legal expenses to help find the truth on why he was shot to the point of death! Rashaud’s mom, his father, my aunt, and Rashaud deserve our support. This family is so special to me and to so many other people. My aunt (Rashaud’s grandmother) is more like a big sister to me, and I would appreciate it so much if you could PLEASE donate any monetary support to help. Anything will help.
