Ramona Ann Quiles Jones passed away on September 17, 2024. Her mother, Karen Ann Jones, passed about a month prior. Karen was a devoted grandmother who always spread laughter and joy. Ramona had a big heart and always went out of her way to help others. She was a rock for many and always helped others out of the goodness of her heart, without expecting anything in return. Karen passed from cancer and heart issues. Ramona had a genetic heart defect, which eventually led to a massive heart attack and her death. Karen was the matriarch of the family, always giving support to Ramona and her children. Ramona and Karen lived life to the fullest. Ramona leaves behind 5 children and her partner, Chilo Fernandez.
Karen and Ramona are at peace and reunited with other family members in heaven.
We ask for donations for their cremation, for the children left behind with their father Chilo, and for their funeral service.
Ramona and Karen were both big people, so the cost of their cremation is double what it would be for a normal-sized person. Due to this fact, they are currently at a funeral home awaiting cremation. We are trying to raise funds to get them cremated and get some of their ashes put in necklaces for the children and Chilo.
We are planning a memorial service for December 2024 in La Porte. Once we have raised enough to put a deposit down on the venue for the memorial service, we will release info on specific date/time/location of the service.
