Prasad M.P, my dear friend and a 38-year old automotive engineer, passed away on Jun 26 2024 in his fight against Acute Myeloid Leukemia, an aggressive form of blood cancer. He is survived by his parents, wife and 4-year old daughter.

I have known Prasad since the year 2003, and he always cared about a better future for upcoming generations. He had this unshakable conviction that a cleaner and more sustainable future is possible, and he put all his efforts towards that. In fact, he went as far as leaving his comfortable employment and starting a consulting firm, thereby becoming a pivot in advancing cleaner and more sustainable mobility in the Indian sub-continent. And in the process, he has also triggered many other bright minds who will take his place and pursue his vision.

And with Prasad's passing, it is now our opportunity to show our care for his upcoming next generation- his daughter. While we can never make up for the child's loss of her wise and loving father, let us make a financial contribution towards her education- our small way of helping with her future.
