Meet Pierre, a lovely young man from a backyard in Kensington. Incredibly sweet, he was kept safe by his feeder and came into my rescue Boomer's Feline Friends, 2 weeks ago. What I thought was going to be a quick neuter turned out to be a bit more complicated. Pierre presented with a heart murmur on exam and further diagnostic revealed that in order to safely proceed with a neuter and a much needed dental (fractured canines and grade 2 dental disease) he requires an echocardiogram and possibly a full service vet for his neuter and dental. For now, we are taking it one day at a time and for this week, he has an appointment secured to establish doctor patient relationship and book him for an echo. I am looking to raise some funds for his visit tomorrow and obviously for the echocardiogram appointment which is around $700 with a rescue discount.
