Our mission is to build a Nepali temple in Los Angeles that will replicate the religious characteristics of Kathmandu’s temples and preserve and promote our age-old religion, culture, and tradition in the United States. Temple construction has already begun; we are short of $150,000.00 to complete the construction project. We need your support. Our goal is to raise $50,000 online.
We have already brought the murtis of deities from Nepal and India. We have plans to inaugurate the temple on the day of Maha Shivaratri on February 24, 2017, if everything goes as planned. Your contribution in whatever amount will make a huge difference in promoting Nepali identity in the US.
Our project is not huge in general, but it is a huge project for the Nepali community because our diaspora community is relatively new. We request all of you to be a part of this mission. The donors who contribute more than $501 will be remembered forever with their names engraved on the temple walls.
