Olivia is undergoing surgery to have part of her tail amputated. For the past few weeks we’ve been battling “happy tail syndrome”, which is essentially a wound on her tail that keeps getting reopened due to her wiggly happy butt smacking her tail against hard surfaces. We tried every option possible to keep it from getting this bad, but unfortunately it still got infected, and the only option to avoid further spread of the infection is to amputate.

The cost of the surgery is $2,000 and basically wiped my bank account. I hate even having to ask for help in a situation like this, but as long as Olive is safe and happy it was worth every penny spent. We appreciate anything anyone is willing to donate to help us get through this tough time.
