My best friend Nicole got in a car accident on the highway on July 3rd, 2023. After a bone removal in her foot on October 23rd, 2023, she started experiencing chronic intense pain in her foot that gradually started spreading up her leg.

After the surgery she developed nerve damage and was diagnosed with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain syndrome-link info below). She had to go to physical therapy for months to learn how to walk again. At this point she has tried countless medications, nerve blocks, scrambler therapy and more to try to go into remission but nothing has resolved the pain.

For the last two years I have seen her and her husband struggle with paying for out of pocket costs, various medications and co-pays. She missed work regularly to try to help manage the pain through emergency interventions and to go to doctors appointments in search of answers.

We are hoping to raise money for her to go to Italy for a week long treatment for Neridronate infusions with the goal of helping her become pain free. The cost is $37,000 and is not covered by her insurance, also does not include her airfare.
