Hello, Namaste and Tashi Delek,

We are fundraising to help the people of Nepal where the flash floods have claimed many lives and continue to cause widespread destruction in the Himalayan region.

The people in Nepal and Tibet urgently needs your support, and I'm pleading with anyone who can to donate. Your donation will go directly to individuals in Nepal impacted through Child Haven International (https://childhaven.ca/). I have confirmed with the organization of this campaign.

Other organizations where you can donate:

• Nepal Red Cross Society: Active in search-and-rescue, evacuation, and emergency shelter:

https://donation.nrcs.org

• Nepal Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund: A dedicated, tightly audited government response unit where 100% of funds go directly to relief:

Donate through local Tibetan Community Associations and Tibet Office in North America. Funds will go to support members in the Tibetan settlements areas impacted by the Flash Floods.

Thank you,

Tenzing Jigme (Former President of the Ottawa Tibetan Community Association and a public servant living in Ottawa with roots in Nepal and Tibet)

Tenzin Tsundue (A Tibetan community member living in Toronto, a Social, Emotional and Ethical (SEE) learning facilitator with Masters in Buddhist Studies and Psychology)
