In late September, my dad's face began to start growing. At first, we didn't think much of it, but as the days passed, he began to lose facial functions and his face began to grow significantly. Through many tests and appointments, he was told there was a suspicious cell in the part of his face that was growing. These suspicious cells have been confirmed as cancer. He was recommended to go off-island for treatment, and with that comes a hefty cost. As of right now he is in the Philipines for treatment at St. Lukes Medical City.

My dad is a very kind person and he would always be there for me when I need him. Being alone at home with my grandma has been a struggle.
