For the past four years, my mom has endured multiple strokes, uterine cancer, and heart surgery, each taking a toll on her ability to care for herself and her home. On Mother’s Day, she suffered another stroke, making it clear that her home urgently needs updates to ensure a safe and supportive environment for her recovery.
