My name is Margarita, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart. My brother, Milciades, recently suffered a severe stroke (ACV) in Paraguay. It was a terrifying moment for our family — one that changed our lives overnight. He was rushed to the hospital and had to undergo emergency brain surgery to save his life. By God’s grace and the dedication of his doctors, Milciades survived the operation and is now in the long process of recovery.
However, the road ahead is extremely difficult. The hospital bill has already reached nearly $20,000, and although my siblings and I, with the help of kind-hearted people and small fundraising efforts, have managed to pay part of it, we are still struggling to cover the remaining balance. On top of that, Milciades needs constant medical care, rehabilitation therapy, and daily medications, which are very expensive.
Without a job or income, he depends entirely on our support and the generosity of others. Every donation, every prayer, and every word of encouragement makes a difference. We are fighting to give him the chance to recover fully and live a normal life again — to walk, speak, and smile like before. Your help means hope for our family and for my brother’s healing.
