Donate for Mike Cassidy's Mobility Needs

Hello. My name is Mike Cassidy and I use a wheelchair due to Cerebral Palsy. I am starting this GoFundMe to help with the purchase of a wheelchair accessible vehicle. I was in an accident and my van was partially submerged in freezing water. I am blessed to be alive, but my van has to be totaled. I had unknowingly missed my insurance payment (my insurance premium was set to auto debit. In December, after reporting fraudulent activity on my account, my bank issued a new card but my insurance premium payment was linked to the old card and the payment was declined). Due to a lapse in coverage, insurance has declined my claim, even after multiple appeals. Wheelchair accessible vehicles are not cheap and I still owe on the van that is being totaled. Funds raised will go towards paying off the totaled vehicle, and a down payment on a replacement vehicle or to purchase a already adapted used vehicle in full. I am currently staying with my girlfriend in Virginia. Being unable to drive keeps me from my DJ gigs that I do as a side job, so I am also losing a source of income. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
