Donate for Meredith's Medical Transport

Hi! My name is Meredith and over the last year or so my health has taken a dramatic turn for the worse. I knew I had a lung disease but, in May I had to have open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve and a double bypass. I also have COPD, emphysema, and pulmonary fibrosis. I found out recently that I have several nodules in my lungs as well as swollen lymph nodes. Yesterday I went to the lung Dr and found out that I have to decide on which place I prefer to see and get evaluated for lung transplant. Also that I need a PETscan to find out more about the nodules and lymph node to see if I need biopsies on them as well as another round of pulmonary function tests and a ct scan in 3 months to see if a lung biopsy is next. They are waiting on that to let me heal longer from the open heart surgery. I'm starting this fund raiser because my car has officially died and can no longer be fixed. I need reliable transportation to doctor appointments so that I can continue to fight. I am not good at admitting I need help so this takes a lot for me to even ask but, I am on a fixed income and have no extra money to get a new used car.
