Donate for Mateo Cruz's Lifesaving Treatment

My name is Chloe Alexis.

My father Mateo Cruz who was one of Belize’s formidable elite Cyclists for 18 years has fallen ill and has been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and is now experiencing kidney failure. He is currently fighting for his life at the Belize Healthcare Partners Limited.

Mateo was initially admitted to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) on Sunday July 7th but was transferred to Belize Healthcare Partners on Monday July 8th after learning that KHMH could offer no further treatment.

Mateo underwent his first dialysis session there last night July 8th 2024 and is scheduled to receive dialysis daily until he returns to a more stable condition where it will be reduce to three time a week.

The daily medical expense ranges form $3,000.00 USD to $5,000.00 USD.

Pharmaceuticals- $1,500.00 USD

Hospital supplies- $350.00 USD

Respiratory Therapy- $200.00 USD

Chest X-Ray- $180.00 USD

Other Doctor and hospital fees-$2,083.50 USD

All monies donated will be used to defray the cost of the dialysis along with the cost for hospitalization and other treatments necessary to restore him back to good health.
