Donate for Mark's Cancer Treatment Travel

My name is Marge and I worked with Mark Cowder at the Lake Otis Post Office in Anchorage, AK. While at Lake Otis, Mark was on route 725 for many years. Prior to working in Alaska as a letter carrier, he also worked in Nevada. Throughout his career Mark was a member of the NALC. Mark retired from USPS in Anchorage, AK in 2017 and continued his membership in retirement with NALC branch 4319.

After retiring, Mark and his wife Debbie immediately moved from Alaska to California to take care of his father's estate. Afterwards, they moved to back home to Pennsylvania where they're originally from. Since the return home, Mark's health has been in a decline, including cancer and strokes. Due to successful treatment Mark was able to go into remission from the cancer.

Now in 2024, his cancer has returned and Mark and Debbie need assistance for travel costs to and from his treatments. The nearest treatment facility is over 100 miles round trip. They have to make this drive any where from three to five times a week.
