My name is Devin and I’m creating this fundraiser for my good friend Mark Sheppard.

If you’ve ever met him, you know he’s the kind of person who shows up without hesitation, for family, friends, neighbours, or even strangers who need a hand. He’s always been someone people can count on, and he’s never been the type to ask for help himself.

Recently, he went through a sudden, life-changing event that has left him facing a long recovery and a completely new way of living day to day.

The months ahead will include rehabilitation, mobility equipment, home adjustments, travel to appointments (prostethics), and time away from work. While he’s focusing on learning to adapt and regain independence, the financial strain adds an extra weight no one should have to carry alone. So I’m asking on his behalf.

This fundraiser is meant to ease that pressure so he can put his energy into healing and rebuilding his routine, rather than worrying about how everything will be covered.
