My name is Rachel, and I am the parent of Marie, a brave and beautiful child living with CASK syndrome, a very rare genetic condition that affects brain development. Children with CASK syndrome face many challenges—delays in walking and talking, low muscle tone, seizures, and difficulties with balance and coordination. She misses school a lot due to her condition and it is hard for me to work full time to support newer transportation. Despite these obstacles, Marie works incredibly hard every single day to make progress through therapy.

Therapy is not optional —it is life-changing. Every session helps build strength, improve motor skills, and give Marie the best chance at independence and a brighter future. For a child with CASK syndrome, consistency is everything—missing therapy means losing hard-won progress.

Right now, our biggest struggle isn’t effort or determination—it’s transportation. Our car is unreliable, and without a safe way to get to therapy, we risk losing the progress Marie has worked so hard to achieve.

We’re raising funds for a dependable wheelchair vehicle so Marie can get to every therapy session. She needs therapy 5 days a week. Every dollar, every share, every prayer means the world to us. ♥️
